Monsterpocalypse™ Collectible Miniatures game sells out in Japan
Privateer Press has announced that their Monsterpocalypse collectible miniatures game has sold out in Japan prior to launch.“This is a very important indicator of the game’s potential in Japan,” stated Matt Wilson, designer of Monsterpocalypse and Creative Director of Privateer Press. “This paves the way to a bright future for Monsterpocalypse in a market and a culture that has celebrated over 50 years’ worth of the Giant Monster (Kaiju) genre.”
A product shortage is not anticipated at this point, especially as distribution in Japan expands, so players in Japan will be able to take full advantage of the Mega Ares Mother ship redemption program, and the Mega Sky Sentinel comic book promotion.
Monsterpocalypse launched this past Friday, October 10th, 2008 and has also recently sold out of starter sets at the manufacturer level in the US. Information about future releases for the Monsterpocalypse product line will be on display at Toy Fair in New York City in February 2009.

Save Money with 4E Core Class Paper Miniatures
Now available in Precis Intermedia's line of ENnie Award-nominated Disposable Heroes® paper miniatures... Fantasy 4E Core Classes -- that's 30 figures of the new common class and race combinations. From the Dwarven Ranger and Elven Cleric to the Human Paladin and Dragonbrood Warlord... In three varieties: Statix Downloadable, Customizable Downloadable, and Pre-Printed.ORDER NOW!
Customizable Disposable Heroes are full color, downloadable paper miniatures that can be customized through an online interface. You can specify which figures are downloaded to a PDF file, as well as whether or not they are labeled and/or numbered. In addition, entire pages of duplicate figures can be downloaded, making the creation of armies a breeze. Each set is available as A-Frame Stand-ups, Tri-Fold Stand-ups, and Flat Counters. When printed, the minis are sharp and detailed (black & white figures can also be downloaded for those with older non-color printers).
Statix Disposable Heroes consist of beautifully-illustrated, ready-to-print paper miniatures in the same three formats as customizable sets but as a single, convenient download. And for those who go through armies, Statix sets give you just that--a filled sheet of each figure in each of the three formats, as well as numbering to keep track of duplicates. And if that weren't enough, each set is done in BOTH color and black & white. In fact, each Statix set is assembled as a single, ready-to-use download via the same online system that powers the Customizable version.
Pre-Printed Disposable Heroes are paper miniatures already printed in full-color, a-frame format on quality cardstock. Just clip and assemble them as needed. And if you add on our low-cost plastic bases, assembly is as simple as a single fold and insertion into a base. Whether ink costs too much for your printer or you don't have a color printer, pre-printed Disposable Heroes are just what you need.

High Demand Leads to First HeroClix "Buy it by the Brick" Figure Reprint
WizKids Inc. proudly announces that for the first time in the history of the "Buy it by the Brick" program, the company will be reprinting a brick figure - the Super Skrull: Illuminati from Marvel HeroClix: Secret Invasion - to meet excess consumer demand. As previously announced, the original 5,000 numbered versions of the Super Skrull: Illuminati Brick Figure are sold out. Having exceeded the minimum threshold of 500 additional unfulfilled orders, WizKids will officially be reprinting the Super Skrull: Illuminati as un-numbered figures to fulfill all orders received before October 24, 2008.
"We are thrilled at the momentum fans and retailers have created behind Marvel HeroClix: Secret Invasion and the 'Buy it by the Brick Program'", said Andre Lawless, Director of Marketing for WizKids, Inc. "This reprint gives consumers a second shot at collecting a cool figure tied into a hot comic storyline. The strength of the set, its storyline tie-ins, and the Brick promotion have resulted in Secret Invasion being 95% sold out in the North American market."
The sellout of the initial Super Skrull: Illuminati figures marks the second "Buy it by the Brick" program sellout in a row, following DC HeroClix: Crisis in February 2008.
Fans of Marvel HeroClix: Secret Invasion have approximately 40 days left to submit orders for the un-numbered brick figure, as the Super Skrull: Illuminati figure will never be reprinted again.
WizKids will notify all customers that submitted a brick coupon and did not receive a brick figure of their order status once the promotion end date arrives.
Qualifying consumers will receive their un-numbered brick figures within the next several months. Reprinted brick figures will be mailed directly to consumers as soon as they are available.
