Wild Life: The Cardinal Collection

Wild Life had been running in the Daily Cardinal, the University of Wisconsin-Madison student newspaper, for more than two years by 1984, when this volume was released. In that time, the strip blasted the radical right, the radical left, University scandals, heartbreaks, television, the Nicaraguan rebels, relationships, slugs, and politicians. In short, life, love, and the world at its fallible best.

In the process, Wild Life gained a following of thousands of daily readers, awaiting the latest mishaps of Carson, the lovelorn muskrat, Hanly, the intellectual revolutionary weasel, Snyder, the somewhat existential badger and their supporting cast.

John Kovalic claims no knowledge of this whatsoever. According to him, he was in Pittsburgh the entire time.

Long out of print, Wild Life: The Cardinal Collection is now available in eBook and print formats at DriveThruComics.com.
